Sunday, March 14th, 2010

We all know that health is wealth. And we also know that in order to stay healthy, we need balanced diet, healthy lifestyle and regular workouts. The value of the workouts in human life is huge. Without them, man seems to be static and dull. Therefore to make the life swinging and bouncing, we need to do workouts regularly. Our physical fitness will be maintained properly if we perform different sorts of workouts with much pleasure. All we need to do is to find what type of exercise will do better to get back the strength and stamina to our body.

I myself decided to jump into the P90X workout. At first I find it hard to believe that any workout can change my slob abs to rip in 90 days. It’s a big ask, isn’t it? But since a friend of mine has got pretty good results with the workout, I decided to give it a try. The Power 90 Master Series is proven to be hard graft – but it works. The program itself is an intense set of workouts that have been created so that each and every session you complete will cause you to get closer to reaching your fitness goals. With this plan, you’ve got to put in the work every day, maybe 60 – 90 minutes a day – except on Sundays. That’s when you take a break. After doing it for roughly 60 days, I can see that having a great new body, ripped and lean muscles is not impossible for me. So if you are looking for a way to have that perfect physique that has been in your mind for years, I recommend you to try this P90X workout plan.

How To Make Doing Exercises A Habit

Wednesday, August 5th, 2009

It’s been known for centuries that losing weight doesn’t include only a special diet. Sports has always been the most important thing losing and maintaining weight, shaping your body and most importantly keeping your body healthy and strong.

In this article you’ll find out what one should do trying to get accustomed to doing sports and making it a regular habit.
- always work out regularly at the same time;
- promise yourself to work out regularly;
- regime is the most essential thing in maintaining a stable weight;
- if you’re very busy, always schedule sports on your daily notebook;
- always check your achievements. Can you make this distance faster than a month ago?
- ask your physician or sports expert to set you a list of exercises precisely for you with the number of sets and reps;
- join a fitness gym or sports club, make friends.
This will make you do sports regularly.

To avoid the injuries Consult carefully before starting any exercising. You should be 100% aware of the correct implementation of the exercise. Every time start with the warm up. You need to warm your muscles and joints, so that they become more flexible. Do a 5-10 minute stretch and cardio walking. Finish your work out with a cool down stretch, too. This is also important for your heart rate. Find out which clothing or shoes are best for a specific type of sports. Lots of joint or back injuries are caused by the improper shoes while jogging, doing aerobics or dancing. Observe your body. Stop the work out if you feel you’re out o breath, dizzy, weak, and nauseous or in pain. Always drink lots of water if you’re doing an intensive work out.

How important is exercise to losing weight?

Friday, February 8th, 2008

Are you familiar with this misconception: “EXERCISE IS THE MOST IMPORTANT ASPECT OF LOSING WEIGHT. PEOPLE WHO ARE LEAN SPEND HOURS UPON HOURS IN THE GYM.” I’m not sure if you believe that, but I assure you that plenty of people are brainwashed with this myth. For millions of people, when they see someone who is in great shape their immediate response is: “they must work out A LOT” or “they must spend HOURS in the gym.” Don’t get me wrong here, exercise is important and is something that is critical.
I will tell you that it is an absolute necessity to living life lean BUT, in comparison to a proper mindset and nutrition, it is… The least important aspect of living life lean! However, if you visit your local gym or fitness center you’ll certainly see tons of people who haven’t gotten the memo. I always see people who are well into their workout when I arrive at the gym and then when I leave they still have a ways to go. However despite this, year after year they remain overweight and look pretty much the EXACT same! I reveal the correct way to exercise in the book Living Life Lean, but I’ll give you a big hint right now to what the magic formula is… Quality over quantity! In fact, spending too much time exercising can actually hinder your progress… But let me be also clear about something: exercise IS, without a doubt, one of the best investments of time you can ever make in your life. Period. The point you need to understand however, is that without having a firm grasp on proper mindset/beliefs and proper nutrition, you will never reap anywhere near the full value of your investment. This is exactly why it’s important to be aware of this misconception…

Can lifting weights make you thinner?

Wednesday, February 6th, 2008

Weight lifting makes you big and bulky. Are you familiar with this misconception? This is a belief that unfortunately so many of us still have. Millions of people automatically associate weight lifting to big, bulky and muscular bodies. Millions of people believe that you should only lift weights if you want to “get bigger.” Not only is this completely false, but if you ignore weight training (or strength training) then you’re missing out on one of the single most effective fat loss methods in existence. In fact, you should immediately begin associating weight lifting (or any type of strength training) to living life lean.
Yes, weight lifting can certainly be a part of a weight gaining program as well, but lifting weights alone is not what makes you bulky. Do you want to hear the real reason why people get bigger? They eat lots of food! In fact, it’s virtually impossible for someone to gain a significant amount of weight if they don’t increase the amount of calories they take in. Take heavy-weight body builders for example. I’m talking about the ones that most people associate with body building. Now let’s be clear: they ARE huge. But this is mainly because they take in a very large amount of calories on most (or all) days of the week. The simple fact is that muscles are essential to a lean and toned body that burns fat on autopilot 24/7, yet muscles continue to be one of the most overlooked components to losing fat effectively and permanently. Trust me, if you’re serious about losing fat quickly and permanently, then this is not something you want to ignore…
